GENERAL RULES OF DISCIPLINE

  1. The School Diary is a means of identification of particular student and an indispensable record of his/her daily
    interaction, behaviour and performance in the school. It is also a mean of periodical communication with the parents/guardian.
  2. A student will be denied to enter the class if he /she fails to bring the diary without duly filled and signed by the parent or guardian or when a parent or authorised guardian is asked to meet the principal in the office . Thenegligence from the part of the parent or authorised guardian is considered as a serious offence from the part of them and shows lack of interest in their child and repeated events can leads to the dismissal of the student from the institution.
  3. Admission to Jyotiniwas High School implies on the part of the students and parents/guardian willingness to comply with all the rules and regulation of the school.
  4. No student will be allowed to go away from school before the school gets over. In unavoidable situations, a written application should be submitted to the Principal and and escort should reach the school at the required time.
  5. Children must bring with them all the articles needed for the day. Its negligence will be treated as a breach of discipline and a matter to be settled with the subject teacher concerned.
  6. To acquire greater fluency in ENGLISH the Students must talk in English in the class and within the school premises.
  7.  Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience and conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school, justify
    dismissal at any time of the year, unless after having been admonished he/she corrects his/her faults.
  8. Guardian and parents are requested to make proper arrangements to collect their children immediately after school hours. Though proper care is taken to ensure the safety of the children, the school cannot be held responsible if a student leaves the school campus on His/Her own accord.
  9. Any damage done to the School property must be made good by the students / guardians / parents.
  10. The School cannot be held responsible for accidents, fight or injuries to pupils during their stay in the school, or while taking part in sport or co-curricular activities within or outside the school premises.
  11. No mobiles, magazines, papers books other than school text books will be brought to school without the prior
    permission of the Principal. Parcels and letters are subject to inspection.
  12. No buying/selling of stamps, stickers, comic books etc. is allowed in the school. The use of drugs and alcohol and items such as supari, chewing gum, or betel nut etc. are strictly forbidden in the school. It will result in immediate suspension of the student from school and possible expulsion.
  13. The Principal has the right to suspend the attendance or request the withdrawal of any child whose application tostudy is not satisfactory.17
  14. Children, whose conduct is injurious to the normal tone of the school, or incompatible with strict discipline, are liable to be dismissed.
  15. Students are to address teachers and all the members of the staff-teaching and non-teaching - with due respect and politeness. Students must show gentleness and courtesy to their companions. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self-restraint should be the distinguishing marks of our students.
  16. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with pupil's name. Ornaments and jewellery of any kind are not allowed in the school.
  17. Every student should wear clean and proper uniform.
  18. School begins with General Assembly at 8:35 am. All the students must be present for it. After assembly students must go in silence to their respective class rooms.
  19. While moving from the one place to another for different purpose in the school building students are expected to move quietly and as quickly as possible without dragging their feet.
